Pilsner Brass Band

Traditional Musik

The Pilsner Brass Band has been entertaining New York audiences with Traditional Musik mostly from Germany (Bavaria) and the Czech & Slovak Republics since 1976. We enjoy playing folk music (polkas, waltzes, popular music, etc.) from the early 1900’s all the way to modern day music. We also like to inlcude a few popular songs that are hits used during Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany to keep the festival atmosphere flowing.

We can accommodate the size of our band (duet, trio, quintet, sextet, full band of 12-13) for your live music enjoyment.

Here are some song selections to give you a sample of what our band can contribute to your next event/festival:

-Skoda Lasky/Beer Barrel Polka

-Sukynka/Blue Skirt Waltz

-Ja Rada Tancuju/I Love Dancing Polka

-Černy Kos/Black Bird Polka

-Take Me Home Country Roads

-99 Red Balloons

-YMCA

-Böhmische Musik

-Herz Schmerz Polka

-Svestková Alej/Prune Song Waltz

-Sweet Caroline
